SIP-n-Sketch, 04-17-20, paint sketch

We started our first paint "sketch" tonight. This was a view from the Bay Bridge during sunset with the Super Moon rising. We are using acrylic in a watercolor process on heavy duty Arches watercolor paper.

SIP-n-Sketch, Drawing Tutorial Part 2, 4/13/20

The Shelter-In-Place (SIP)-n-Sketch session on Monday, 4/13/20, focused on completing the Drawing Tutorial started last Friday. For those who missed the session, email me and I can send you a link to the video.



















This Friday, we will start a sketch painting with acrylics. If you plan to participate, bring acrylic paints and watercolor paper.

SIP-n-Sketch, first sketch completed, 4/9/20

The final touches include detailing diner faces, adding wine bottles on the bar, coloring the chandelier, and building up more color on the wall trim.
