Bay Bridge floating shop, 9/2016

While I was sitting at my vendor table, I managed to finish this depiction of the floating platforms used to demolish the old Bay Bridge. I'm going to miss that old Bridge...

Dad's 80th Birthday Invitation

It's my Father's 80th birthday this weekend and I had the opportunity to make invitations for his banquet. With the help of a friendly co-worker for the Chinese characters, I put together a few sample covers for my sister and I to select.

I liked this one.

This was the final we both liked.

La Coupole, Paris

My sister-in-law invited us to La Coupole for our birthdays. Hemingway and Picasso used to hang out here...very cool.

Masala Zone, London

While walking back to our hotel, we stumbled upon a small, interesting Indian restaurant in the alley called Masala Zone. What caught our attention were all the Indian puppets hanging from the ceiling.

Student vs. Teacher

My daughter and I had a little sketch-off over the weekend at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Oooo, she is getting very good and may have surpassed the teacher (but let's just keep that to ourselves because we don't want to get her too big-headed).
