Mini-Masterpieces 2019

It's past Halloween and that means the holidays are upon us. That also means another Mini-Masterpieces show at Rhythmix Cultural Works in Alameda California. Mini-Masterpieces is a holiday art show and sale by local artists. Join us this Friday, November 8th, for the grand opening. I will have a small wall with my artwork on exhibit and for sale. Mailbox replacement, 6/2019

Our mailbox is old and falling apart. What's not helping is that our mailman is pretty rough with the remaining pieces of the old box. In looking around for new mailboxes, they can run $600 for a fancy-schmancy model.

Well, I still have plenty of wood scrap in my garage - time to put those scraps to use.

Art Jam at Blue Dot

Art Jam will be exhibiting at the Blue Dot Cafe, 4116, 1910 Encinal Avenue, Alameda, California, this month. Art Jam is a collective of local artists who meet every Wednesday night at Rhythmix Cultural Works to hone their craft. Occasionally, the Jammers get out and strut their stuff.

Tulip Hill, 3/30/19

My ex colleagues invited me out for a ride to Tulip Hill over the weekend. By accounts, the tulips were out in full bloom after winter and spring rains. Unfortunately, the cars waiting to get in were also out in full parade, about a mile long. So, we made the best of our ride.

PAINTS Big Show 2019

I'm exhibiting my work at the Piedmont Arts in the Schools (PAINTS) Fundraiser at the Piedmont Center for the Arts, 801 Magnolia Avenue, Piedmont California.
